New Lebanon Cooperative CSA
Regular price $721.00
This CSA is the second annual collaboration between New Leaf Farm, Abode Farm, and Gentle Time Farm and the New Lebanon Farmers Market & Grocery.
We aim to bring a wide variety of fresh, sustainably grown vegetables to our community through weekly farm shares.
A farm share offers ten to twelve delicious vegetables per week for twenty weeks.
Payment options?
The full price option is $700. That's $35 per week or just over $3 per item on average.
💰 You can pay in person at the farmers market with cash or a check. Or you can make out a check to New Lebanon Farmers Market and mail it to 528 Route 20, New Lebanon, NY 12125. (The $700 option appears to be sold out on this website because it’s only available in-person or by mailing a check.)
💳 You can also pay with a card — any card, credit or debit — and we will add a 3% processing fee for a total of $721. You can make this payment online, starting right on this page. (You can also pay with a card in-person at the market, if you prefer.)
There are two low-income options!!
1️⃣ Thanks to our friends at Berkshire Grown, we have just 12 shares available for $175 when you pay with cash or check. We expect these to sell pretty quickly, so they are available at this price only in-person at the market. (Please don't mail us a check. These shares could be sold out by the time your check arrives.)
Alternatively, you can use a credit or debit card to secure this option. That price is $180.25, and you can pay online right here.
Please not that you cannot use SNAP to pay for this option.
2️⃣ Thanks to our friends at Glynwood and the CSA Is a SNAP program, we have up to 20 additional shares available for $350. These are available only via SNAP, and we will take payment on a pay-as-you-go basis. So we’ll swipe your SNAP card for $17.50 when you pick up your share each week. You can reserve one of these shares on this website. When you get to the payment page, select SNAP from the payment options. You can also reserve one of these shares in-person. Just stop into the market and talk to use about a CSA share with SNAP. (CSA Is a SNAP is made possible by our participation in the Hudson Valley CSA Coalition and is supported by the Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program, grant number 2023-70415-41205 from the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture.)
This year, we cannot use Market Match funds in connection with the CSA.
Please contact the market with any questions regarding payment via hi@newlebanonfarmersmarket.com or by stopping in and saying hi.
How does it work?
-
To become a member, purchase your share on this website or in person at the farmers market
-
Members will pick up at the market between 1pm and 6pm on Wednesdays, starting mid June and wrapping up in late October or early November
- Members will bring their own bags and select their items from a special area reserved for the CSA
- We will share weekly crop updates to give members a heads up about what veggies to expect each week and will share other updates throughout the season
